about me

How I Work

I use an integrative therapeutic approach to work collaboratively with clients, meeting you where you are and supporting your growth throughout our time together. I draw from my extensive training across a variety of therapeutic modalities to offer you the most effective treatment. I have a warm, compassionate, empathic style, while also being direct and honest. My role is to help you gain insight and awareness while we work towards your goals. I use a strengths-based approach to capitalize on your strengths while also identifying areas of growth and concern.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of New York. I earned my doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. I also have a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan. I completed my predoctoral internship at Arizona State University Counseling Services and my postdoctoral fellowship at Therapists of New York. Previously, I worked at the Dean Hope Center for Educational and Psychological Services, NYU Counseling Services, and Baruch College Counseling Center. I also worked with the School Based Mental Health Collaboration at Columbia University to develop a social-emotional learning curriculum for NYC public schools.
